Emerging rock band Hazel Gaze is set to captivate audiences with their upcoming release, "Dirty Little Secrets," a classic rock anthem that delves into the realms of concealment, dishonesty, and the hidden layers of our world. The single, accompanied by a visually stunning music video, is now available on Archodia Music.

“This song was written to represent the general concept of concealment. This can be interpreted in many ways, ranging from secrets kept during a relationship, to information concealed to maintain the status quo, or, as in the video, a government official or institution concealing information from the public,” says writer and band member, Russ Soper.

The video shuttles between major geopolitical covert activities or historical events which were intended to remain concealed from the public, along with scenes from everyday life – all with the undercurrent of dishonesty and concealment.

“Dirty Little Secrets” was written, produced, and engineered by Russ Soper at his Brooklyn Studio, with drum recording by Daniel Alba of Studo G, mixing by Daniel Alba of Megafonic and mastering by Oscar Zambrano of Zampol Productions. The track features lead vocals by Hanz, guitars, keys, and percussion by Russ Soper, bass by Konrad Payne, drums by David Cornejo, and backing vocals by Abby Ahmad. Production consulting by Daniel Alba. Music video by Patty Sway.

Hazel Gaze hails from NYC. Their 2017 debut was the brainchild of Guitarist / Keyboardist Russ Soper and Lead Vocalist Hanz, creating music purely for the love of it. Blending 90s rock influences ranging from The Black Crowes, Lenny Kravitz and Soundgarden to 70s icons such as Led Zeppelin and Humble Pie.

After highly-successful NYC shows, the band took a COVID-induced hiatus, during which Russ crafted the material that would become Hazel Gaze II. Joined by Konrad Payne (bass), Mary Jo McBride (Keys / vocals), Molly Klein (vocals) and Spiros Arnakis (drums), the band is eagerly anticipating bringing their music to NYC-area stages.
