"Crime of Passion" is a car chase of a pop-punk track that promises to deliver an adrenaline-fueled experience. With its fast-paced fervor, it tells the tale of a scorned lover determined not to go down in flames but committed to bringing the heat. “Harmonically, building the chords for this was a bit of a challenge, as I knew I wanted the skeleton to have rock music muscles. While this is a poppy pop-punk song, I wove in some typical rock chord progressions to intensify the rage of the main character,” says EJ Carey.
